Details:
Fernando Rio's CD entitled "Our Wedding Day" features a collection of original wedding songs inspired by his daughter's wedding. After being in the event videotaping business for eighteen years he felt the industry needed some new songs.
The thing that started all this was a double-picture frame his daughter Jennifer gave him after the wedding. Within the frame was a picture of her when she was five, and a picture of her in her wedding gown, with an inscription saying, "Forever she's her Daddy's pride.... From little girl... to grown up bride." It was then that Fernando wrote the song "Daddy's Pride" and that inspired him to write the whole album.
In collaboration with Robert Speegle, his friend of more than thirty years they set out to produce a wedding album. Fernando gathered phrases, vows, and special sayings from videotapes of wedding he had captured and Robert began arranging the songs. After a period of nine months the CD was released the first week of July.
