"IN YOUR FACE" NEW CD BY RICH REICH
With his long awaited CD effort, affectionately titled "In your face" Reich combines elements of Folk, Jazz, Country and Hard Rock to create one of the most well rounded independent releases in recent memory. Released on his own label "CSAM Records", The 35 minute CD features 9 songs all penned by RR himself. 4 years in the making, this recording contains some of Reich's finest work to date. The magic of this record is due largely to the sum of its parts.
Recorded in and around New York City, the outing was produced by Eric Mauriello who, as well as engineering the recording, played bass, keyboards, guitar, miscellaneous percussion, and sang on a number of tracks. Also featured on the cd are the talents of Phil Bloom (drums and percussion) , Theresa Cifali (back up vocals), Nellie Ramos (back up vocals on "Pieces"), Bruce Algera (Pedal steel guitar on "Unpatiently"), and John Campagna (flute on "Unpatiently").
Since the completion of this project, RR has relocated to Boulder, Colorado where he is currently writing and recording new music.
