This CD is a little bit country a little bit rock and roll, topped off with some easy listening contemporary worship songs and finished off with a very nice blues song. While it does'nt cover all styles, it does have a very nice variety to it.

The promised land takes us on Rick's journey and struggle with addiction for over 25 years he traveled the long hard road of addiction but was set free through the Lord's mercy and grace. Blessed and higly favored is where Rick is today as he participates in the friday night recovery ministry as servant on the worship team at his local church. This is a place where people who struggle with addictons come to meet with brothers, sisters, and God.
