Rick Hirsch, a guitarist from Los Angeles, California with roots in the deep south, Alabama and Georgia, began his career touring, playing guitar and writing music for the Southern Rock group, Wet Willie during the late Sixties thru the mid Seventies. He relocated to California in 1977 where he has done extensive studio work and toured and/or recorded with many artists, among them Gregg Allman, Cher, Joan Armatrading, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Newman, Bonnie Bramlett. He has performed and recorded with Billy and the Beaters, a local L.A. group, since 1982. In addition, he has composed for various television programs including NBC Sports, ABC Sports, CBS Sports, ESPN, ABC's late night talk show Rick Dees' Into The Night, The Leeza Gibbons Show (NBC) and music for several Olympic Games broadcasts. No Regrets is a compilation of arrangements based on some of the themes from these various broadcasts. It is heartfelt and passionate music with lyrical melodies embraced by sophisticated chord structures and lush instrumentation. He is currently working on a followup to No Regrets.
