12 MP3 Songs
BLUES: Electric Blues, BLUES: Blues Vocals
Details:
On a summer evening in June 2006, Debbie Ritter & 4-40 Blues took the stage at BB Kings' in Nashville, Tennessee. The show was recorded through the mixing board on an eight track portable recorder originally intended to serve as a demo for a press kit. The tracks captured some magical moments and at the urging of some friends of the band are offered here appropriately named "In the Raw". There were few preparations for a live recording. It's raw and it's real. What it lacks in technical polish it makes up for in the true and honest live performance vibe. Several of the tracks are original songs yet to be recorded and are heard here for the first time on disk. For the blues lover it's a slice of life in a nightclub setting showing what Debbie does best, exercising her soulful, vocal power while laying down the blues in front of a cooking band in a live setting.
