Traditional Christmas music with a new twist. Some techno, some grunge guitars as well as folk instruments. A few vocals thrown in the mix to "spice" it up. The title song is a new original from this artist.
14 MP3 Songs
EASY LISTENING: Background Music, GOSPEL: Contemporary Gospel
Details:
I'm a "late blooming" singer/songwriter. I grew up singing in the church, acting and singing in plays and writing the typical "bad" teenage angst poetry. About six years ago I aquired a keyboard and the rest is history.
"Christmas is Coming" is a new take on traditional Christmas songs. We Three Kings for example has a grunge guitar sounds being played by the talented David Slattery. David lend his guitar on others as well as his blues style harmony on Silent Night. The soft melodic sounds of Dulcimers appears on two songs, played by Alexis MacManus. Tammy Nicholas lends her voice as the main soprano on O Holy Night.
A snippet from one CD review:
Deanna has some real good keyboard skills and some excellent arranging gifts as well. There were a lot of instrumental songs on this project, but Deanna also does some singing. She has an excellent voice and it has a really soothing timbre to it. I really like her background vocal work as well
