(Oct. 11, 2006 â San Diego, CA) Aursic Records recording artist Darius Palmer makes his long-awaited return to the front line with the upcoming October 24th release of his first independent album, FEVER, produced by Darius himself. In advance of the album release, the first single âWhatchu Thinkâ has already impacted Urban/Pop radio in Germany and The Netherlands and was released August 22nd on CDBaby.com and Apple iTunes. Darius is also planning to release a second project, a demo which will be used to shop record labels in early 2007. The three song demo features production by Darius Palmer, Joey Arreguin and features two guests musicians Del Atkins (Credits: Dr. Dre & DJ Quick) and Ricky Z (Credits: Jessica Simpson).

Darius Palmer is also gearing up for upcoming performances which will be held in late 2006 and early 2007 in southern California.

FEVER is the follow-up to Snakes Below (Feb. 2005), an album produced by Darius Palmer and Tommy Kraze which remains unreleased due to other events which were scheduled for summer of â05. All songs were written by Darius Palmer which soon opened doors and opportunities. âTalkerâ became a quick success on the internet and Darius gained popularity amongst the locals. Soon after Darius was advised to record a demo and struck a contract with Love and Laughter Music in early 2006, a production company which is allowing Darius to record a three song demo to be used to present to record labels. His song âCanât Restrainâ was an instant hit to the company as well as in Germany and Darius was advised to re-record the track for the upcoming demo project.

âCanât Restrain,â which debuted in â06 is still an all-time favorite and is set for major release in the near future, perhaps late 2007. For now, his main focus is on his current project FEVER due out on Oct. 24, 2006.

With FEVER on the horizon, Darius is also setting up to host dance auditions which will be held in the later part of 2006. Darius also plans to release a second single from FEVER later this year to Meermusic.com. Meermusic/Fame Games has an estimated listenership of over 1 million international tourists and residents in the South of Spain, and a confirmed listenership of over 500,000 on the web that is growing at a steady pace.

Fame Games is a radio program dedicated to independent artists around the world with no regard for music genre or style nor age. Bands and solo artists are welcome as long as they consider that their music has "crossover" potential.
