Details:
Dodge, starbass player of funkband Seven Eleven, started his solo-career with a tribute to his greatest inspiration; Bootsy. Together with producer handieMan and with help of the Seven Eleven funkateers he recorded six tracks in 1998 for his first solo album âMutronic Injectionâ. The title track was sung by Rubberband lead singer Gary âMudboneâ Cooper and âRam Powerâ was used many times for Dutch television shows. Bootsy himself wrote a fax congratulating Dodge on the album. He was even interested in using 'Tuned Car Mind' for one of his own projects.
'Mutronic Injection' got excellent reviews in the Dutch press and also magazines abroad wrote about it. In 2003 a new version of the album was released, remastered with extra tracks, and Dodge called it: Mutronic Injection Deluxe. Now available at CD Baby!
