"The Mutt Project: Isla Mujeres", is a melodic,romantic,
melancholic,and emotionally charged collection of songs. It's personal, but that's what makes it better to listen to. "The Mutt Project" name was inspired by the different races, genders, and experiences that came together to make a dream come true. The title "Isla Mujeres" was inspired by the the majority of songs that relate to women. "Isla Mujeres" (Island of Women),is a small island just off the northern coast of Cancun in the Yucatan Peninsula. The front cover of the cd features a painting of a local Island dog named "Loco"who followed my girl and I to our hotel. "Romeo" my great yellow lab mix (who has since passed away), growls on song #2 and barks on song #4. Being an animal lover only made it easier to decide on the direction of the art cover.

We are currently working on our second cd which got shelved due to the excitement over a few new rythm compositions which turned into most of the songs written for "Isla Mujeres". Aaron Baldwin,Dave DellaSantos,Mitch Green,Paul DellaPelle, Jodi Ramirez,Adam Kapuscinski,Eric Zobel,Tom Gingell, and Romeo only made the experience that much more fun.
