I'm really bad on writing about myself so I'll just say a few things. MusiM is the continued musicial endeavors of John Beauchamp. Music is a part of me and I love every single kind.

My album "Stories" is something I have wanted to do for an extremely long time. It is in essence a soundtrack to a story I made up. And its not done in the traditional sense where a melody might represent a character or place. The album is done with the idea that as a person goes through a set of events, certain music and dynamics in music would be present through the different situations.

I also love the idea of no one ever agreeing on what a song is about. Depeche Mode's "Sweetest Perfection" is a really easy example. Its probably about Gahan's heroine addiction. It could very easily be a love song too. But another popular theory is that it is about masturbation. But honestly who cares what Gahan was writing it about? Music only matters if it means something to the listener.

"Stories" is an album that I have wanted to do for a very long time. It is not an idea I expect to be well received although I wrote it for everyone. I could sit down and write something that I know everyone will like such as synthpop or ebm, but that just sounds appauling to me. Like I'd be betraying myself to win a popularity contest. I'm sure I will eventually write things like that but not at this time.

Anyway some other details about me. I play guitar for Axis. Expect an album from us soon. I have also played in jazz bands, folk bands, and metal bands among others. I have studied classical and flamenco guitar and studied bluegrass and country. In the future I hope to do all these things and possibly enlist the aid of various singers and rappers.
