Details:
My name is Mesaan S. Wuor. I was born in
Liberia on December 9, 1980. Liberia is located on the West Coast of Africa. I was born in the capital city, Monrovia. Monrovia got its name from former and late President James Monroe. My father's name is Mr. Roland S. Wuor and my mother's name is Yei R. Wuor. My parents have
been very influential in my life and my decisions. I
attended elementry school in Liberia at a school
called J.J. Roberts United Methodist School. Joseph
Jinkins Roberts was the first President of Liberia.
He was actually born in Norfolk,VA. The school is
named after him. I attended this school from age 3
until the 9th grade. To make a long story shorter, I
have lived in four different countries. In 1990,
Liberia had some political instabilities or a War. My
family and I moved to Freetown, Sierra Leone for about
a year. We moved back to Liberia and had to flee
again in 1996. My mother, sisters, and I moved to
Ghana until the war ceased down in Liberia. While in
Ghana, I attended Accra High School. Later in 1997,
my parents and I came to the United States. I
completed high school in Charlotte,NC (Independence
High School). I then decided to go to Devry
University in Decatur,GA. I earned my B.S. degree in
Electronics Engineering Technology in March 2003. I
have had several job experiences in my field. I have
also recently, completed my MBA with a concentration in
Information Systems at Keller Graduate School of Management
in Charlotte,NC. I am 25 years old. I've
always loved music. I started rapping at 12 & 13 years old
in Liberia. I was influenced by rap music
through artists like Kris kross,2pac,Biggie,LL Cool J,
The roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def & Talib Kwali, Nas, Jay-Z
etc... I was also a drummer in my school band in Liberia.
I started getting into producing in Atlanta when I met
my friend Ish (Jamin James). I am still learning
new things everyday especially with music. My ultimate
goal is to be a very successful businessman. I want to be
able to give back to my different countries
(U.S., Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, & Africa as a whole).
I pray that God blesses me with his love, guidance, and
protection to be a role model for Liberians, black
people, Africa, and the world. Hope you enjoy what I
have to offer.
