In November 2010, the Chanman Roots Band began recording their first album, "New Uprising". Working independently, the band completed and released the CD in June 2011. These songs represent the bandâs love for life in the mountains, the search to find meaning through relationships of all kinds, their acknowledgement of the present state of the world, and the need to contribute positively while having a good time.
