Eagle's Song was created in the fall of 1995 and released on CD in January 1996. Composer Tobin Stokes created and performed all the music with Allison Girvan, voice, and Daniel Lapp, trumpet and fiddle. Stokes has sold close to 10000 Eagle's Song CDs, through distribution mainly in Canada and Japan. Tobin Stokes lives and works in Vancouver and Victoria, on the west coast of Canada. He composes full-time for film, television, large events, dance, theatre, opera, orchestras, and choirs. Growing up on the west coast, he is familiar with local wildlife, and has an interest in visiting remote areas and recording birdsong and natural environmental soundscapes for occasional use in his compositions.
