"On hearing the music of Nick Drake I was particularly inspired by its melodic simplicity. I loved many of the arrangements too: sparse, where every note counts." says John. I needed to respond musically to that.
After researching his brief life I came up with the title, which seemed to sum up his turbulent life. After immersing myself in his albums I set time aside in the studio to compose and arrange the EP.
So here they are here... 6 simple melodic musical statements, no complexities, straight from the heart (and fingers!) to the ears... Enjoy!
