Details:
Janitors of the Apocalypse's 5th release, "Two Weeks From Everywhere", is a vary of styles threaded together by a three piece rock band in the tradition of Blues (Last Song), Punk (Air Freshener), and Singer/Songwriters (Miss the Ground and Dust in the Sunlight). The Janitors look towards the minimalism of early punk and blues to convay the emotions of alienation, and varied momentary connections people have in life. Each song is a charactor, like a photo yellowing in a shoe box. Like the blues, "Two Weeks From Everywhere" is a celebration of the defeated soul. The letting go of the Beast and rocking with Beauty. All that and the album rocks, too!
Brian Barbee - Guitar/Vocals
Matt Scobee - Bass/Back Vocals
Rob Edwards - Drums
Recorded at TNT Studios
Louisville KY
Engineer - Philil Stergvolt
All songs written by Brian Barbee, 2011
Except "Insatiable" written by Ricky Lee Schill
