Fast, loud punk rock/hardcore in the vein of the early 1980's (our major influence.) Recorded in three days and mixed in two. Authentic, live, tight and angry. The LP comes with a Free Download and is on Orange and Black Vinyl.

Details:
We wanted Consume to sound like an authentic punk record. Loud, blasting, rough around the edges, not too technical and in your face. Consume was recorded as live a possible. 18 songs tracked in two days and vocals in one at Hurley Studios in Costa Mesa. Ad the mixing genius of Alex Alekel. And folks, if we can toot our own horn, (there are no horns on this album) it came out fast, loud and sounding like a record from 1982. We are stoked and if we were still riding skateboards (we sometimes do) these songs would get us wound up while skating a ditch, ramp or pool. Two loud guitars, a booming bass, frenetic drums and scratchy vocals combine to make an authentic yet original punk/hardcore record.
Our influences are too many to mention, just know that our record collections are large and loud.
No More Saints is built of five old consumers of 1980's Punk Rock. We would consume many 7" records, tapes and LP's back in the day. Anyone remember Zed Records, Toxic Shock? Plus we wanted others to consume our own music. The Guitarist Jim Alfaro was in "Against the Grain" from 1982-1986 who put out an amazing tape. Go to www.myspace.com/againstthegrainsjc to listen. Vocalist Ken Pucci was in "Virulence" from 1985 -1989. Virulence put out a demo tape and an LP. This has been reissued on Southern Lord Records and you can check it out here www.virulencetheband.com. Guitarist Buck was in "Blood Soaked Hands," and "Buckface" their music was consumed on a couple of compilation records and a tape. Drummer El Patron was in "the Pegs" and a many other bands before landing in No More Saints and Bass player Derb has been in "Fork Tailed Devils".
No More Saints put out Consume on their own label, Seize Control Records and elicited the help of KickStarter where fans pledged over $5000 to help us record and press the LP. We would not be here if it wasn't for people who pledged and we thank them from the deepest depths of our hearts.
May your day be well and full of music consumed.
