While Divinity Roxx has become most notable for her unique bass playing techniques on the past two Beyonce tours, she is herself a very dynamic and talented performer. Divinity got her start in Atlanta, GA, where she honed her rap skills at lunchroom tables and local cyphers. She picked up the bass guitar while studying Mass Media at UC Berkeley and within 3 years found herself touring with one of the most prolific bass virtuoso's of our time, Victor Wooten. Divinity toured with Wooten for 5 years and appeared on two of his CD's, Live in America, and Circus.
She released her first album, 'Ain't No Other Way' on CDBaby in 2003, which featured production by Wil.I.AM, DJ Lethal, and Mike Elizondo, and is currently in LA working on her new project, Roxx Boxx featuring heavy bass and guitar riffs and solid rhymes.
