Thanks for reading about me! This is my awesome story of God's grace...
On December 8, 2001 I was hit head-on by a drunk driver in Nashville, TN. I was pinned in my car, cut out, and taken by ambulance to a trauma center. I had numerous fractures including both feet, left kneecap, left hip, pelvis, right forearm, right shoulder, both jaws, left eye socket and facial fractures. I had multiple surgeries and months of therapy and rehabilitation. I was given an emergency tracheotomy and for 11 days I could not speak. When I was finally able to talk again, I was amazed at how weak my voice had become. I am beyond blessed to be singing and recording again!
Bless The Day is my testimony. This is not a sugar-coated album or testimony. I am familiar with real pain, real perseverance and real forgiveness. I have experienced healing through the power of Jesus Christ in my life and it is my prayer and passion that others may know that kind of love. There is true joy and peace in walking with Him and finding the "hidden" blessings in life.
I was so blessed the day I could walk again, the day I talked again and all of the other days I had a victory. They were blessings that I took for granted before my crash. I bless the Lord for all He has done in my life and I am so thankful to be able to bless each new day that He gives me.
