Sydney based singer/songwriter Mark Wilkinson has emerged into the live music scene with his refreshing brand of acoustic pop. Markâs songwriting is diverse and evocative. His infectious melodies and poetic lyrics are passionately delivered through striking vocals and fluid guitar work.

Launching himself onto Sydneyâs original music scene in early 2005, Mark has played as a solo artist at many of Sydneyâs top live music venues including The Basement, Hopetoun Hotel and The Marquee. He has also supported established artists such as Sarah McLeod and The Mekons (UK).

"Cellophane Life" is Mark's debut release. The first single from the EP is the title track âCellophane Lifeâ. The single was chosen in the final 4 of an Australia wide competition called âNew Artist to Radioâ (NA2R) run by Commercial Radio Australia. Mark recently performed live at Luna Park as part of the NA2R showcase in front of over 300 commercial radio and industry representatives.
