Matt Saucedo emerged on the midwest blues scene as a 22 year old vocalist and drummer. This experience fostered the evolution of Matt's style, direction and image into a unique combination of acoustic rock and funk.
For Matt, forming Common Project was the next piece of the puzzle. Although he was still behind the drums, his vocals and musical vision were at the core of Common Project. Matt toured festivals and small venues around the Midwest. Unfortunately, individually developing styles ended the band just short of their first record deal.
Finally he brought his guitar, bass and drums into the studio to complete his own material and release his first CD titled "Reliable Source." Now, Matt has assembled a line-up who share his energetic, acoustic, funky style and his love for performing.The Matt Saucedo Band has arrived with their new album "Reliable Source."
