Madison, although acknowledging lifeâs sadness in the tonality of their music, speaks strongly of persistence and of overcoming universal hardships. Songs like, âPersistusâ and âA Thousand Ways,â explore the vastness of life while leaving the listener with a feeling of optimism. âCanât Outlive the Sunâ and âLong Time Comingâ display the bandâs pop roots while hinting towards a deeper sense of soulfulness.
