Christopher (âMakutaâ) Thomas, Sr. born in Kingston, Jamaica moved to the U.S. at the age of six years old. One of seven children, Makuta grew up in Brooklyn, New York where he attended City College of New York and The Center for Media Arts successfully earning a degree in music production. He supported himself, a wife and two kids by acquiring a certificate as a master barber during his tenure in college. A protégé in the instruments of saxophone, clarinet, violin and keyboard his love for music allowed him after earning his degree in music and his creative abilities in song writing, to began orchestrating his first project, âRock Starâ.
Nicknamed the âJack of All Tradesâ, Makuta, continued to delve in fashion modeling and acting while diligently working on his music project. His experience and success in these three hot industries allowed him to merge his creativity, style, eclectic and soulful personality in order to materialize his life long aspiration in producing his own music project, âRock Starâ.

âRock Starâ, is an infusion of techno, dance, pop and R&B. Makutaâs verses embrace the heavy twang of the electrical guitar and heavy bass that pumps through your speakers vibrating in your backbone!
