Marginal People music is more about sound and sounds not quite heard than 'music' or melody, per se. It borrows some structure from jazz, but, unlike jazz, it rarely features a solo instrument. "Problems of Existence" is an album culled from over 4 years of recording. The styles therein are quite varied, and yet, they form a cohesive whole.

Marginal People music is the kind of music which bears repeated listenings. Tunes should 'grow' on you as is sometimes said. Most listeners have reported that once they start to listen to "Problems of Existence", they find themselves listening to it quite regularly. Reported, preferred listening environments are the car--preferred by certain German fans while on the AutoBahn, and portable CD players. College students report listening to the CD while studying as there are no words to distract them from their work. One of the more interesting uses was by a local, criminal defense attorney who listens to the CD to get psyched-up before going into court. Marginal People music fits into those in-between times and places where nothing else does.
