Even at a young age, Mäni (born Elaine Lee in Oakland) found herself drawn to the stage by way of writing and directing, singing, and playing the violin. Itâs no wonder she studied psychology at UCLA and music, blending what one can poetically decipher from the human experience with song in creating her odes to love.
