I really enjoy the entire experience of playing live. The atmosphere, the music, friends, new faces, everybody just hanging out, and I'm strumming my guitar whilst singing.

In my music, I try to focus on the sweeter things in life. Marriage, friends, love, traveling, and our loving God.

Influences of Matt Russell and his music: The Cranberries, Dave Matthews, Maroon 5, Incubus, and Jack Johnson.

They all were routinely cycled through the lower-end CD player in my car. These odd combinations have blended into a melodious concoction that has become my style.

The whole process of writing, recording, and producing this album was a big learning experience and heaps of fun. I couldn't have done it without my great God, my lovely wife, and my awesome family and friends. Not to mention all of my incredible talent. (just kidding)
