MarsupiaLâs fierce improvisational pocket rock, otherwise known as electrogroovinâ-psychofusion is native to Asheville, NC and all of itâs eclectic and progressive musical culture. This band has been heard all over the southeast and elsewhere in the past five years at over 300 shows in venues like The Orange Peel, Stella Blue, and the Flat Rock Music Festival. During that time, MarsupiaL has shared the stage with venerable acts such as Schleigho, Bloodkin, Hobex, Strut, Deep Blue Sun, Melvin Seals & the Jerry Garcia Band. Grammy award winning producer/engineer, Jim Scott has said â The members of Marsupial are intelligent, dedicated, organized and of course musical.â

In March of 2004, MarsupiaL released their first official full length CD entitled, âdancing about architectureâ.
