ABOUT THE 'BITTERSWEET' CD
First, thanks for taking some of your precious time to find out a bit more. Iâve put my heart and soul into these 12 songs. There is an undercurrent running through them because the album was written over a certain period of time for me. However, the inspiration behind them came from a myriad of sources. Relationships, the countryside, the sea, good times, bad times, all sorts of people, events, sayings, beliefs, other musicians/songwriters and pretty well everything really. All you hear is created and produced by me but inspired by everything else! Although you will hear drums and keyboards accross the album I found that using real instruments like piano and acoustic guitar really emphasised the raw emotion on many of these tracks. I loved putting it all together and if one or two songs from this collection make a connection with you then Iâll have done my job. Do let me know what you think and Iâd love to get an Email from you. Thanks for giving âBittersweetâ a try. Take care and stay in touch, Matt
