For a number of years Mark has fronted a rock band, loving the reckless energy of performing loud rock and roll. They did the carousel of live venues around London picking up a small record deal and then losing it along the way. It was only after playing an off chance gig with acoustic guitars that the reaction convinced Mark he had found the right sound for his songs. The versions of the songs played that night form the basis of these recordings.

The songs are stories and reflections of his life as a part time builder and recently a father. He lives and works in London.
