Details:
Matt Ray is a country singer/songwriter who sings and plays acoustic rhythm guitar with a crystal clear sound. His songs have a message that is real and thoughtful.

Matt describes himself as "a songwriter more than a performer. If I do perform, it is normally at a private gathering in the Austin, Texas area. A good chord progression, thought provoking lyrics and a lively sound are the hallmarks which I strive to achieve when writing a song. I personally sang the harmony on a second sound track on the song "Love Is a Tragedy". Harmony adds so much to the quality of a song. The inspiration for the song came from a book that I recently finished reading called "Reunion" by Alan Lightman."

What people are saying:

* I love the lyrics this Matt Ray writes. He's speaking from someplace that is deep and it rings.

* It's one thing to hear the same old thing and another to hear something that is real.

* This man sings from his soul. He's singing from a place that is unique...
