Born in Wash D.C.,to Parents Earl D. Flowers of Anderson, Indiana and Sylvia L. Stonestreet, of Kosicusko, Miss. Dad was in Headquarters Marine Corps and Mom was in Espionage FBI, Married had 4 children, Mark, Deana, Roxanna, Shelley..Mark was the oldest. Showed an early interest in Music. His Grandmother bought his first guitar a ukelele at age 4, and then a real guitar at age 6 which she bought with green stamps from the Piggly Wiggly. He started to learn on it immediately, learning songs from the radio and as he grew would sing in the church choir, Which his mother was the choir director taught him at an early age to sing with others..learning harmony..as he grew was in garage bands up till he graduated from Long Beach Miss. then Joined the USMC and put Six years in for Uncle Sam at Camp Lejeune NC..

It was there he met a friend, Fred Taylor from Ga. and join his band "Country Blend", playing bass for about 4yrs. yearning to get back to guitar...always had a true love for the guitar..Had been playing a lot of southern rock and the like..till he started his own band Mark Wade and 7th String played all the local clubs for 6-8 yrs. It was then he realized his true passion for "country music" everyone said when he was in the rock bands ..you sound country, so..Why Fight It..that's what he did! meeting "Glenn Perry" in the mid 1980's and out of that became a bond that has lasted ever since, even though they played together only a couple years "Hooves of Steele" which had some minor success!! they remained in touch till present.

When Mark was offered the deal. He had came to Nashville in 1993 and got a job doing demo's for several of the independent labels. Played for tips on Music Row...Started learning his way around town...Played guitar for Diane Sheryl, Don Cox, also shared the stage with the Late Great Waylon Jennings...John Micheal Montgomery, Toby Keith, Mike Kennedy, Danny Muhammad, Has done shows with Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, Aron Tippon and others..His Father Earl Flowers being a big influence on him as a child, His dad would wake the neighborhood every Sat. morning with Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Don Gibson, Bob wills, Lefty Frizzel, Roy Acuff, Patsy Cline, to name a few. His roots are deep with a love for Bluegrass!! also Bill Monroe, and the Album "Will the Circle be Unbroken"..kinda did it. He has combined the sounds of "Bluegrass" and "Country music" with a "Superb Blend" of the two...Makin this one of the finest CDs! to come along in a "long time" with a fresh sound! that still has the traditional sound!! I know your gonna enjoy....... Glenn Perry
