From the riff driven, movie score writing, spastic vocal mind of Singer/Songwriter/Composer Zach E. West comes The Silver Tongued. Annoyed by the current state of the music industry, repetitive rip off bands forming by the minute and a general "blah" feel to everything coming out, The Silver Tongued strives to bring natural talent back to the music scene.

The Silver Tongued came to be in the Summer of 2010. Zach has been playing, recording and touring full time in previous bands and as a solo artist for the past decade. Over this time he was watched the music industry crumble and succumb to a cliche. He states "The only thing I despise about being a Musician is when I meet new people and they ask what i do for a living, 80 of the time now they say 'Oh, everyones in a band. What's your REAL job. You probably just play in a band to get girls or look cool.' And I have to explain that i've been doing this for 10 years, before social networking turned being a musician or any other form of artist into a portentous cliche. And that I spend my life writing music for no reason other than the fact I love doing so, and I love sharing my work with the world, and on the stage."

Zach likes to call his fans "Warriors", via the reason for the new EP title "Calling All Warriors". He says "In a time when real music is hard to find, and people would prefer to listen to computerized vocals and music instead of actual musicians and singers. I feel anyone straying from the mainstream path and recognizing talent is a modern day Warrior. This is also why i wear war paint as a part of my band image. The music industry has become a battlefield."
