The Crazy Never Die formed in Los Angeles in 2010 with Thomas Witwer on guitar and vocals, Christine Gengaro on keys and vocals, and Jon Lee on bass.
Their sound is a jagged, angry mix of political rock and punk scarred by noise and polished by film music. The strange and sometimes abrasive noises set a very clear mood of rage and unrest that is accentuated by vicious, messy guitar and wild, untamed vocals. Conversely the surgeon-like precision of the rhythm section creates a strong counterpart to this disorder. The lyrics are inspired by both social strife and personal triumph and are often angry, yet contain a bit of sarcastic wit. Songs of social angst and moral depravity are accompanied by captivating instrumentals giving the listener time to rest and, if necessary, recover.
