Details:
Dirty Mule is a combination of dubstep beats and wobble bass mixed with a screaming but almost lyrical rock guitar solo. Its enchanting strings and particularly the piano counter melody in the chorus develop an almost timeless feel to the piece.
The name comes from a drink developed by me and a few friends on nights out in the west end bars of Ibiza. The idea was to add banana liqueur to the Red Bell in a standard Jägerbomb⦠it tastes OK but the consequences where a bit shocking so it was soon dubbed a âDirty Muleâ.

All the guitar was recorded on Jackson soloist custom guitars with EMG pick-ups though a Soldano SLO100 Head an 4x12 but I used three different ones in order to exploit the best tones for the section.

The track took about two months to write, play, record and mix which I consider quick considering the quality of the composition and production.
