Mr. Jordan is a highly respected and recognized vocalist /performer, with fifteen years of performance experience. He has taught extensively and performed on numerous recordings. Mr. Jordan studied Jazz vocals at the Conservatory of Milwaukee. He has several stage plays and performances on his resume.
Currently Mr. Jordan is in his seventh season as the lead vocalist of the NBA Milwaukee Bucks house band, âStreet Lifeâ. As the Bucks house band âStreetlifeâ appears in front of millions of people each season in person , radio, and on television. The band has also featured on ESPN, TNT, Time Warner Cable, and The Fox Sport Networks. Jordan also sings The National Anthem at all major sport events including Brewer games & Packer games
With Street Life, Mr. Jordan has performed other profile gigs this year, and last, such as the 2004 PGA Championship in Kohler WI, Milwaukeeâs âBig Gigâ Summerfest Music Festival, and Chicago's Navy Pier. Streetlife has been honored with many prestigious nominations and awards at the Wisconsin Area Industry (WAMI) awards banquets. Mr. Jordan has also been nominated for Male Vocalist of the year for the last 8 years.
Mr. Jordan has toured with the acclaimed Christopherâs Project , The artist âRenâ , Chameleon Jazz and has also performed with Paul Cebar& the Milwaukeeans, and The Jazz/R&B Group Right On. Mr. Jordan has also opened up for many national acts. Some of his most memorable performance was with Tower Of Power, Earth, Wind,& Fire, KEM, The Time, James Brown, David Sanborn, and Phil Perry to name a few.
In Addition to his busy schedule with Streetlife he is in charge of booking the local acts for the 2005 NAACP National Convention in which he will also perform. Mr. Jordan teaches 1st & 2nd grade at Starms Elementary School in Milwaukee. He also conducts music clinics at local schools and area youth groups. He is currently working on his third CD project scheduled for release this Summer.
