Phalando was born May 19,1975 in Atlanta Georgia. His mother Paulette lawson who is one of his biggest influence in music was a background vocalist for Curtis Mayfield and led vocalist for a local Atlanta famous group The Superman Band. His Uncle William Guest is in the music Hall Of Fame as a member of Gladys Knight and The PIPS. Mr. Guest has taught him a lot about the industry and how it takes a lot of work to become successful. A lot of people do not know that Mr. Guest writes a lot of music and he is amazing on the keyboards. Gladys Knight and Bubba Knight are related to him, but Mr. Guest spends a lot of time with him. He also have another Uncle Eric Guest who was once known as the best bass player in Atlanta. He recorded a Rock Album that sold thousands of units in the underground circuit, He also did a Gospel album that sold a lot of copy's in the underground circuit. Phalando step-father Tony Watts was one of the best drummers in Atlanta Ga, he played with some legendary artist like James Brown, Aretha Franklin just to name a few. He taught phalando how to program a drum machine when he was Ten years old and that is when the producing started. He have produced tracks for Cool Breed, South Side Click, Mc.Breed, Cool Ace, 3 Deep, Paradox, and produce a lot of his own music. He have been influence by several artist's like Tupac, Ghettoboys, N.W.A, Luke, Pastor Troy, Lil John and The Eastside boys, UGK, Snoopdog, Outkast, Goodiemobb,P Diddy, Master P, Russell Simmons , Eightball and MJG , Nas, Jay-Z, Curtis Mayfield, Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight and the pips , Marvin Gaye , just to name a few, but he really loves all music. He have open shows for Pastor Troy, Field Mobb, Eightball, MC.Breed, Goodiemobb, Nas, Busta Rhymes, and Luke. He feels like his music has a little of everything in it from Rock , Jazz, R&B, Country, Hip hop, and Blues. He never finish High school were he was very involved with sports like Football, Baseball, and Basketball, he never thought that music would be main focus of his life because of the love
for sports. The music was always there, but there is nothing like the being on a field or court. He had to deal with a lot of drama that comes with being a black male growing with not a whole lot. He was drown to the street life of selling drugs and using woman to make money to survive. You can here a lot of that in his music, life of pain and looking for a answer to the problems that most lower income people have. He got arrested at the age of nineteen with his third felony charged and that really changed his life. Now he make music for people that is going through trouble or just looking for a outlet in life.
