MILNERS BIO :
Michael Milner began playing his songs on the wonderfully eclectic London acoustic music scene of the late sixties(For you younger people, thatâs a very long time ago.)
With then wife, Claire, he appeared in shows featuring David Bowie, John Martyn, Davy Graham, Mike Chapman, Sam Mitchell, Al Stewart, Gordon Giltrap, and many others.
Since moving to the U.S. in the seventies he has performed along with Tom Waits, Eric Anderson, Mason Williams, The Dirt Band, John Fahey, Hoyt Axton, The Stone Ponies,
Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jack Tempchin, and Mike Bloomfield, to name drop a few more.
While less than overjoyed in the past with his own effforts at recording, he has made guest appearances on discs by Steve Seskin, Kanary. (Only Dead Fish Go With The Current),and Jack Lancasterâs Skinningrove Suite, and The Worlds First Edible CD, with Wayne Kramer, Phil Collins, Gary Moore et al.
But, finally, here is MILNERS DOZEN, a collection of songs written over the last fifteen years or so and recorded, at home, in late 2005.
And now I have to stop referring to myself in the third person before I go completely schizophrenic.
If you get a tenth of the enjoyment from listening to it as I had recording it, then all those sleepless mornings were well worthwhile.
But if, on the other hand, deep down in the nucleotidal spiralling of your soul's base paired essence, you really really really really really don't care for it all that much, please don't tell me, I'm very fragile.
No, really...
