"radio-friendly on the surface but just clever
enough to rise above most of the stuff on the radio."
The music has also been described as "ultra power pop"
and has drawn comparisons to bands like Shudder To Think.
On My Valkyrie's self-titled debut, the vocalist moves nimbly among the Cars-style pop-punk of "Who Am I," the leaden bass of "Blitz," and the high-hat-heavy metal of "Come Back."
