MOG, born Sedrick Bolden, hails from Los Angeles, California an epicenter of creative quakes in television, film and certainly records and music. Relocating to San Bernardino County at the age of 4 allowed him and his family to experience first hand the vast and harsh differences of life in the heart of LAâs Ghetto from life in heart of desert country.

Having been reared in a Godly household, MOG has known of Godâs undying love for the unbeliever and the believer alike since he was young. Of course praying grandparents always seem to help when going through tumultuous times and this was certainly the case in the Bolden household. At some point his entire household was going though great adversity to provide a positive influence for their children. Though this phase only lasted for some months the great residual effect on MOG was an unflinching commitment to Christ.

MOGâs first public performance experience came when his mom was working on her solo rap music career. She employed her son as the ââ¬Ëhype manâ for her act. It was through this experience that MOG garnered a love for the stage and an unquenchable desire to perform in front of crowds. Imagine at the age of 6 years old being trained to raise the enthusiasm of any unwelcoming audience. This training was only furthered by his performance experiences in church, which also spawned a love for vocal music.
