If Joshua Morin is to be classified and branded one style, then he composes and performs original music in the Acoustic-Rock genre. But in fact, the style becomes a minor detail when listening at one of Joshuaâs performances. It is the stories within his original songs as well the combination of his powerful voice and guitar abilities that make him an asset at any festival or concert.

Whether Joshua is performing with his four piece band or just as a solo act, he consistently fills venues with audiences of every age.

In 2004, Joshua released his debut self produced and recorded album entitled âWhile you were out...â It received rave reviews and was described as âremarkably well doneâ by Montrealâs The Link and âsomething you would want to listen to over and overâ, by Harvey Glatt, the Director of Music Development at Rogers Radio. The album received air play on many radio stations in the region such as the CBC, CKCU and the New RO.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario Joshua rarely stays still in one spot. He has recently returned from a six month musical experience where he traveled all over parts of Central and South America to study with native musicians. Joshua spent this time writing all of his repertoire for his new album there. He is now in studio recording his second full length album which is expected to be released at the beginning of 2006.
