Blues/Rock from Argentina. A high energy band with the right amount of soft touches.
14 MP3 Songs
BLUES: Electric Blues, ROCK: 70's Rock
Details:
MoâBlues formed in Santa Fe, Argentina in 1999. The Band is comprised of bassist and vocalist Sebastian Casis, guitarist and vocalist Frederico Teiler, piano and accordion player Gabriel De Pedro and drummer Ruben Tissenbaum. A wonderful mix of English and Spanish lyrics gives them pride in their distinctive sounds as an exciting South American Blues Band. They pull in an audience while âteachingâ some songs to the listeners in Spanish. This high energy band with the right amount of soft touches combines a mesh of culture resulting in the MoâBlues unmistakable sound. This sound combines their own local music with the best from American Blues.
One year later, they were playing the Bluestock Festival in Memphis with the likes of Rufus Thomas, Buddy Guy and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. On that same trip, the band cut its first record âRush Hourâ at Ardent Studios in Memphis.
âWe play as we feelâ says Sebastian Casis. âWe grew up listening to the great Blues Masters and 70âs Rock, but we didnât know about the special nuances and little stuff that we do differently in our style until we came to the US. People here say we sound different because we incorporate some things from our culture into the Bluesâ.
