The array of influences lend to diversity. And these influences, combined with unique songwriting and passionate live performances, create an original sound that sees no genre boundaries. Something you have never heard before, yet very familiar.

Moon Violet has the rock'n'roll spirit missing these days in modern music. "Originally I had started the band just to play the songs I love" states Lee. "We like so many different artists and music genres, it was only natural that this came out in our music. Rock'n'roll is an attitude. It's a feeling. There are no rules."
Lee furthers, " . . . the only way to play is with your heart and soul. Whether it be a traditional country number calling for the lonesome train wail of a pedal steel guitar, an authentic rockabilly rave up with a big hollow Gretsch and the rumble of a deuce coupe, or an ear-splitting heavy metal tune with a Les Paul screaming through a Marshall at 11."
An honest approach is what this band gives you every time, "I have always felt the best songs are an interpretation of the heart. Sometimes my heart loves, sometimes it bleeds and most times it rocks."
Anyone who has caught one of Moon Violet's performances can attest to these sentiments. The live show is always special for the audience. You never know what you're gonna get. An unplugged set?
