Bursting onto the New Jersey music scene in late 2001, More Then I has grown into one of the area's hottest new rock acts. Bringing to mind the music of contemporary greats Incubus and the Goo Goo Dolls and legendary bands like Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin, More Then I is on the fast track to success.
Formed initially as an acoustic trio, and playing cafés across New Jersey, the band has grown around the idea that the song must come first. After developing an impressive catalog of modern rock songs, the band began playing electric shows in some of the area's top clubs, earning devoted fans with their amazing live shows and solid songwriting.
During the summer of 2002 the band entered the studio with engineer Don Sternecker (Peter Gabriel, Blues Traveler) and began work on their debut album. Less than a year after their first performance, the band released the album "U" and began garnering radio airplay for their first single "Why Can't She Be Mine."
Constantly writing, the band entered BackPocket Studios (Sting, Stevie Wonder) in early 2003 to record "Felicity", available exclusively on the bands mp3.com website.
