Miles Landry's music is the result of many years in the entertainment industry. When Miles was growing up in Southern California, his parents told him: "Miles, go out in the world and make a name for yourself. Find a good woman, buy a great home, raise a wonderful family and become a fabulous, recognized Singer and Guitarist". Miles replied, "But Daddy...I'm only FOUR YEARS OLD!" After the incessant rocking motions and twitching ended from that eventful moment, Miles was able to start his musical training at age six playing piano. He was dedicated to the piano and played this instrument after every dinner meal as if it was his dessert. At age twelve, he started playing trumpet in various bands lasting through his high school days. During this time, Miles started "plucking" on his first guitar, an electric that he purchased at a "cut-rate" department store. At age seventeen, Miles made the choice to form a Rock band and played at local venues on a regular basis. He had a brief, six-month "stint" as a Drummer performing in a trio. Miles found his "niche" as a Singer/Guitarist performing over the years in the Country, Blues and Rock styles. Miles certainly has a creative soul with additional experience as a Radio Announcer with five California stations. His creativity also extends into the world of Acting, working along side a number of prominent performers. He likes to keep his life simple and that is reflected in the creation and sound of his music. The compositions you will hear are just the basics as vocals, self-harmonies and guitar. This all adds up to an uncomplicated yet powerful, all-encompassing and meaningful performance. The lyrics of his lead song are meant to inspire and instill positive change for all who have encountered domestic violence in their family lives.
