Miriam Humphries and her husband Alan pastor the Soldotna Church of God in Soldotna, Alaska. Miriam is a pastorâs daughter from South Carolina. Miriam and Alan left South Carolina in 1974. Alan attended West Coast Bible College and graduated in 1977. Together they served in several church staff positions until their first pastorate in Newark, Ca. from 1979 until 1986. In August of 1986 until April of 1987 Alan served as Development Director of West Coast Christian College. In April of 1987 until this present time they have pastored in Soldotna, Alaska.

Miriam has always been a vital part of their ministry team. Alan and Miriam have worked together in ministry for over 30 years. In the past 15 years Miriam has been growing into a God called teaching ministry to women. God has led Miriam into many villages and communities throughout the State of Alaska. She has also ministered in several conferences, ladies retreats and national ladies conventions. She has taught the Word of God with great anointing and God has blessed her tremendously.

Miriam has always had a love for music. God has also anointed her with a tremendous gift of song writing and singing. She has written over thirty songs and produced three CDâs: âOn the Road to Soldotnaâ, âRaindropsâ and âRest In Meâ. Her latest CD âRest in Me was released in May 2005. Her unique style and spirit will inspire all who desire to change and grow into a deeper and richer life.

Miriam ministers primarily in the area of setting women free from spiritual and emotional pain of the past. Showing them through Godâs Word how they can change and become the women God called them to be. God has helped her understand some of the restrictions and limitations that satan, ourselves and others have placed on us and with Godâs help how to overcome them.
