Andrea Mikolajczak

Andrea is a conservatory trained graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York who holds degrees in both Piano and Music Education. Her secondary instrument is percussion. Andrea began composing at the age of twelve and believes that all children possess innate creativity which must be nurtured. She has been working as a piano teacher with young people and adults for twenty years. She is currently teaching piano classes at the Macy Gray Music Academy. Published by ASCAP, Andrea's lyrics can be heard on Jeri Brown's CD, "Fresh Start." Andrea's music is used in television and radio commercials, at Buffalo Bills football games, and as the theme song for Carly's Club, which Andrea wrote for a young friend who succumbed to cancer. Andrea is an on-camera and studio recording artist, as well as a television, film, and voice-over actress. Most recently, Andrea has attended the American University of Complementary Medicine, Holistic Health, and the Study of Sound Therapy, and has created a CD of her own music entitled "Songs That Soothe."
