instrumental rock fusion melodic metal blues
10 MP3 Songs
METAL: Instrumental Metal, ROCK: Instrumental Rock
Details:
This is a great inspired instrumental guitar powerhouse....After winning the local rock station KLBJ's "Guitar Wars Competion" in 1994, in Austin,TX; Micheal teamed up with drummer Jim McCullough to record and produce "Perpetuity." More emotional than technical, this is a recording that is easy to meditate with....The songs flow to form an overall story-line of life experiences in the new millennium. Recorded from late 1999 through 2004 at Jim's home studio; all the tracks are live with no editing. This is not your usual Texas music....
20th Century Guitar (May 2006) says "Skinner has recorded an impressive powerhouse of soaring instrumental workouts that simply sizzles." Robert Silverstein also goes on to say that "Skinner's approach to to guitar composition indicates that he has a fine guitar touch as well as a
flair for originality." There is a maturity in these tunes
and although you may notice similarities in other guitar
music, Skinner has a voice of his own. This CD has been
described as music for the soul. Eat up!
