Original piano/instrumental arrangements of traditional hymns. These soothing compositions seek to capture the depth and emotion of these time-tested songs of the faith.
10 MP3 Songs
GOSPEL: Traditional Gospel, NEW AGE: Meditation
Details:
These compositions came out of my love for traditional hymns. These are the songs that I grew up with and they contain not only a rich history, but also an incredible depth of truth and beauty. While I enjoy contemporary worship, I really miss these songs and think the church is missing something by not including them more in the mix.
These arrangements seek to capture the essence of my favorite hymns. They are not meant to be an exact replica of the original, but rather an emotional interpretation of each song.
I have played some of these for years in my church and I hope that you will enjoy them as well. The final song on the album is not an old hymn, but rather an original composition played and sung by me. I want to thank my family (my gracious wife Sandy, son Danny and second son on the way!) for supporting me through this project. I appreciate your interest in these songs and pray that they will enrich your life as they have mine.
