Details:
Overman is a Bay Area Legend and "Iron Man Of The Road". He's a poet and a master musician and "Bluesy Folk & Roll with Jazz Attitude" is the best description of his music and performance. His singing and guitar playing are accurately described as "Berklee College of Caveman". Overman has long been regarded as one of the west coast's hardest working (as many as 379 performances in one year) and prolific artists.

In addition to being an impactful and dynamic solo performer Overman's band consistently features some of the bay area's most gifted and talented musicians.

Produced by bassist Myron Dove and considered sonically superior "Lucky." is a favorite of Mick's records among musicians. Overman steps out as a guitarist and showcases his slide style. Between the rock cuts and the organic acoustic takes the record has a jazzy and atmospheric texture. Drummer Jimmy Sanchez (Roy Rogers & the Delta Rhythm Kings) and keyboardist Lizz Fischer (John Lee Hooker Band) support dynamically along with Santana percussionist Karl Perazzo and keyboardist John R. Burr.

The relentless "Right Where It Started From" and the ethereal "Korean Woman" with Myron's lyrical bass solo stand out as well as the autobiographical "Down The Block" which was written during the final hours of recording. The first performance of the song is what you hear.
