Vision is a different type of work for Missy. This music was actually composed in 1995-96 and never released until now. It contains many new sounds found during her first experiments with recording equipment and these are her first attempts at writing songs. When the voice is used in some of these songs it has become more of part of the instrumentation than actual lyrics. The lyrics to Color, Circle, Shelter, Peace, and Waves were written by Don Snookal, her good friend that gave her the poems he wrote to see what music would come out of her into them. The rest of the lyrics were written by Missy, and the result was this wonderful CD.

Missy loves sound, and loves recording and composing
music. She will usually perform each instrument
herself in the studio while recording, but welcomes
other musicians to come and add their ideas and
musicianship to her projects. The 'cello is featured
frequently in her music, and it adds a unique and powerful
edge to the intensity.
