ABOUT THE HARPIST
Diana has sung in hospitals since 1985. She worked at a cancer hospital in Mexico for six years singing bedside to people from all over the world who were very ill or dying. She experienced many wonderful responses to her harp music there. These rich experiences caused her to see the need for the tapes she was inspired to create.
Diana's compassion for the dying was increased in 1986 after a horrible car accident, where she was told she was slowly dying.
She also worked at the Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospital in La Mesa, CA, as a part-time assistant activity director. Here she witnessed healing responses to her musical tapes from patients who were screaming from pain.
Diana's Musical Medicine for the Soul Comfort Series have been distributed throughout America and Canada since 1993. NAAP (National Association for Activity Professionals), activity directors, hospice workers, chaplains, nurses and caregivers highly recommend her music as therapy.
